St Joseph’s students also made it to the grand final.
Three of the region’s schools entered the 2009 Rock Eisteddfod Challenge and all three made it through to the grand finals.Students from Smith’s Hill, Bomaderry and St Joseph’s Catholic high schools were celebrating on the weekend after gaining a place in the Premier Division Grand Finals of the eisteddfod.Smith’s Hill High School also made it through to the freestyle RAW Division Grand Final, which has a no-sets rule to encourage children to focus purely on the performance elements.All three schools will now perform at the Sydney Entertainment Centre next month, competing against students from across the state, including Engadine, Hornsby and Randwick.
